Title: Shebeshxt Faces Legal Consequences in Botswana Following Missed Performance
Controversial South African artist Shebeshxt, also known as Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, is embroiled in legal issues in Botswana after failing to appear for a scheduled performance. Known for his erratic behavior, Shebeshxt has a history of incidents, including altercations with fans and on-stage displays involving firearms.
Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, known professionally as Shebeshxt, is a rapper from Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, South Africa. He was born in 1997 and has released albums such as “Topless Shxta’s Journey, Vol. 2” and “Topless Shxt 3.”
Shebeshxt is also recognized under aliases like Bling Skats, MaBurner, Malome Shebe, and Shebeshesa. He has faced criminal charges including assault, attempted murder, and malicious damage to property. Shebeshxt’s notable work includes the track “Twerka.”
The recent controversy stems from Shebeshxt’s failure to fulfill a performance commitment at the Simply Piano Music show in Botswana last December. This breach of contract has resulted in potential legal consequences, including possible incarceration upon entry into Botswana, according to a temporary order issued by the Lobatse Magistrates Court.
Despite having a packed schedule with over 50 bookings in December, including two in Botswana, Shebeshxt’s absence from the paid engagement has prompted Boxyard Events to pursue legal action.
This incident is not isolated, as Shebeshxt has previously missed performances, such as the Red Square DJ Knock-Out event, leading to disappointment and a lack of communication from his end.
Shebeshxt’s wife and manager, Kholofelo Chuene, has refrained from commenting on the allegations.
The ongoing legal issues and Shebeshxt’s reluctance to visit Botswana due to apprehensions of arrest have contributed to the artist’s controversial reputation.
