Title: DJ Speedsta Honors Late Rappers with Unreleased Tracks
Hip-hop DJ, DJ Speedsta, known offstage as Lesego Nkaiseng, has revealed that his forthcoming album will not feature songs made in collaboration with late rappers Riky Rick, Costa Titch, and AKA, who tragically passed away between 2022 and 2023.
In an announcement about his upcoming album, DJ Speedsta shared insights into the creative process behind the project and addressed the absence of tracks featuring the late artists. Despite having collaborated on several songs during the lockdown period, DJ Speedsta explained that these tracks would not be included on the album due to their age.
“I’ve got 2 but they not gonna be on the album, unfortunately. I’ve got 1 with Riky & 1 with Costa which also didn’t make it on the album. We made a lot in the lockdown. They sound old now. I’ll keep those in the vault for memories,” DJ Speedsta expressed.
While these unreleased tracks may not be featured on his forthcoming album, DJ Speedsta’s decision to preserve them in his personal archive serves as a tribute to the memories and creative collaborations shared with the late rappers. This gesture highlights the enduring impact of their musical legacies and the profound influence they continue to exert on the hip-hop community.
