50 Cent has responded to the video of Rick Ross being attacked in Canada after a Kendrick Lamar verse dissing Drake was played at a festival. In a video statement, 50 Cent initially expressed concern for Ross’s safety, saying “I hope that brother made it home safely” and “I hope he now has a different perspective and a better sense of what to do and what not to do while you’re out in the world.” However, his tone quickly shifted to amusement, and he burst out laughing, calling it “a very unfortunate situation”.

 

He also joked about Ross needing to “pick up ya mans” and suggested he might need to get the Dreamchasers or 305 Killers to back him up, referencing Ross’s own crew and a rival group. On Instagram, 50 Cent added that Ross won’t be returning to Canada anytime soon, implying that Ross won’t be welcome back after the incident.

 

Meanwhile, Drake liked a video of the confrontation on Instagram, seemingly enjoying the fact that Ross was attacked after the verse dissing him was played. Rick Ross has yet to directly comment on the incident, but posted a vague update on Instagram calling his Vancouver trip “fun”. 50 Cent’s response is unsurprising, given his history of beefs and trash talk in the hip-hop world.
