Keyshia Ka’oir Defends Gucci Mane Amid Tragic Loss of Former Artist

Keyshia Ka’oir swiftly came to the defense of her husband, Gucci Mane, following the tragic death of Channing Nicole Larry, known as Enchanting, a former artist on Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records label.

Enchanting, aged 26, passed away from a drug overdose, prompting Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, to express his grief on Instagram, calling her a “true star” and expressing how much she will be missed.

False rumors about Enchanting’s death had circulated earlier, leading to insensitive comments linking her passing to supposed bad luck associated with Gucci Mane’s artists. Keyshia Ka’oir addressed this negativity directly, defending Gucci Mane in an Instagram comment.

Enchanting had joined 1017 Records in 2020 and had contributed to three compilation albums before parting ways with the label in 2023, as reported by New York’s Hot 97 radio station.

The couple’s response underscores their commitment to honoring Enchanting’s memory while navigating through the challenges and complexities of fame in the music industry.

This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the pressures faced by artists and their support networks, urging compassion and respect during moments of loss and mourning.
