Drawing from personal experiences, Padmore Abekah found inspiration for ‘Sweet Sweet Mother’ (Ena Pa) in his upbringing, where he witnessed firsthand his mother’s unwavering commitment. Recalling the emotional journey of his wife’s pregnancy—marked by tears, pain, and numerous challenges—Padmore Abekah was moved to honor not just his wife and mother, but all women who navigate the complexities of motherhood with courage and grace.
“I witnessed my mother endure so much, caring for me and my siblings,” Padmore shared, his voice laden with emotion. “But it wasn’t until I witnessed my wife giving birth and felt her pain that I truly grasped the depth of a mother’s love and the sacrifices they make.”

My wife loved it, my mother danced to it, and remarked that it could become something significant. Through two years of hard work by the grace of God, we now have the song—a testament to dedication.” He emphasized the need for increased displays of affection towards women, affirming that current efforts fall short.
